Riley Schindler - Baltimore, MD Hi Emily: I got back to Baltimore and wanted to tell you how much fun we had at surf camp. I told everyone about it here in Baltimore! Love, Riley Tuesday, September 06, 2011 Scott Hutchens - Phoenix, Arizona I finally experienced the thrill of surfing on my 50th birthday late August 2011. I had a private lesson with Hugh. I got up on the fourth try. It felt like I was riding a tidal wave but in reviewing the video my wife shot it was more like a tiny baby wave. LOL! I rode 5 waves in the course of my 2 hour lesson. Hugh was patient, positive and fun. Thanks Hugh and Emily. You guys made this old "geeser's" dream come true. Scratch surfing off the bucket list. Emily and her staff were incredible, my students had the best time, it has been a year since our trip and the students still talk about how much fun they had. Will for sure bring my students back!!! Thanks again! Sunday, March 27, 2011 Eleyn Isaak - Baldwin Park, CA Hey & hello Emily & Greg! I came with LBF Church Exit 83 Junior High Youth Group, and my husband Ben and I are youth counselors who were lucky enought to have surf lessons with the kids. WOW! I had such a blast! It was exhausting for my worn out unfit body, but the whole experience is unforgettable, unregrettable, exhilirating, amazing and beautiful. My daughter Cera was one of the students, and that I was able to share this time with her made it so much more wonderful. Each of the instructors is so encouraging, patient, laid-back, down to earth and so good at teaching surf. It was awesome, the same as my instructor, Hugh, who was a tremendous help and was determined to get me to ride a wave for longer than 5 seconds! His determination (and mine) made it possible to beat the odds. If I should get out to California again, I surely would come back for another lesson! Thanks to all of you! Thursday, July 08, 2010 cindy lopez - Upland, CA Girl Scout Troop #12444 wants to thank Emily, Greg and Alejandra for a wonderful surf weekend. All 14 Girl Scouts had a great time, and can't wait to come back. Emily your fruit displays are beautiful.... The food was delicious and the camp was full of things to do.
